ONGOING SERVICE IN LIFE CHOICES

Future volunteers of Life Choices must complete a Volunteer Application, interview and pass a background check. All positions require a minimum of 24 hours of training on our specific pregnancy medical clinic ministry, and some positions require additional, specific training for that specific role.

PEER ADVOCATE

Connect with women of all ages facing the possibility of an unplanned pregnancy. A peer advocate typically serves during one four-hour shift weekly.

NURSE/ULTRASOUND or ULTRASOUND TECHNICIAN

Serve our clients by verifying a living intrauterine pregnancy and giving them a window to see their pre-born child. Requires RN degree or ARDMS certification for Ultrasound Technician. If you’re an RN not yet trained for Limited OB Sonography, training will be provided.

EDUCATION FACILITATOR

Earn While You Learn & Fatherhood Classes
Facilitate video classes from curricula on pregnancy and parents to-be, and for dads with our fatherhood workshop. Position requires enthusiasm, communication skills, and completion of our training program.

Worth The Wait
Abstinence until marriage training in Middle and High Schools using age appropriate curriculum derived from an evidence based program. Position requires a Nevada Teaching Credential or Registered Nurse License, a heart of compassion for the youth of our community, and a desire to communicate a message that works against the tide of sexual irresponsibility, epidemic STDs, unplanned pregnancies, abortions, broken relationships, and broken lives.

HOPE Team (Healthy Options and Purity Education)
Purity training for Youth Groups presenting God’s design for sexuality, providing factual information on STD’s, fetal development, and abortion, and bringing a message of modesty, self-control and self-esteem. Team members are young adult men and women living life on purpose for God and must be living a life of sexual integrity, whether single or married. We’re looking for energetic individuals with good communication skills, and the ability to relate to today’s teens.
